Direct Effect, Inc. has been in business for over 40 years.  Starting out as the Dolly La Follette Co. in 1962, the business became a family owned business in 1990 when it was purchased by a long time employee, Lori Mesco, who was the office manager since 1968.  Lori's son, Craig, took over in 1992 and subsequently changed its name to Direct Effect to more effectively represent the nature of the business. His immediate family along with the business moved to Ashland, Oregon in 1996 where it has been since. It was established as a corporation in the State of Oregon in the year 2000.

Gordon Roda joined the company in 2003 and heads up the promotional products division with his profound skill and experience in marketing and sales which denotes the college degree he graduated with at Woodbury University in Los Angeles, CA.  He is the sole reason for the growth and success of this division since he started.  His customers will agree that his highly regarded business and personal ethics is what brings them to him time and time again.

Direct Effect, Inc. also manufactures and distributes a line of cigar accessories under the trademark name of Klipit and also is a representative to TVA Displays in China who manufactures POS displays predominantly in the wine and spirits industry.  Along with promotional products, Direct Effect's list of clients include Premier West Bank, Drill Doctor, Coming Attractions Theatres, Klamath Community College, Chateau Ste.
